Vaccination / Testing Requirements

As WinMan Volleyball Club is governed by our Provincial Sport Organization: Volleyball Manitoba, we are following their current Return to Play protocols that align with the Provincial health orders which currently includes anyone 18+ involved in sport to be fully vaccinated. As most are also likely aware, as of December 6, 2021 all youth aged 12-17 involved in sport will be required to have at least one vaccine dose or provide regular negative tests. For 18+ there is no testing option, proof of full vaccination will still be required to participate.

We will be requiring that all athletes trying out for our 2022 programs provide proof of at least a single dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccine or a negative test completed within 2 hours.

Vaccination requirements for Participation on a WinMan Team for the 2022 Season

It will be our expectation that all athletes, coaches, and volunteers in our WinMan programs be fully vaccinated at the start of our season. This decision has been made because some of the venues and facilities that we will be using for training and competitions require proof of full COVID-19 vaccination to enter.

Tryout registration closes on Saturday December 4th. Only those registered will be able to attend. We will be sending the registered athletes their specific times and venue locations as well any other pertinent information at this time. All 13-16U athletes can expect their first tryout on December 11th, and 17/18U on December 12th. #wearewinman
