The 12th Annual WinMan Volleyfest is taking place this Sunday March 5th from 8am-4pm at Darwin School. (175 Darwin Street)
This has been a fun community building event that has grown into a community service event as well.
We are partnering with Winnipeg Harvest and encouraging our participants to bring a food item to the event to help those in our community.
History of the Volleyfest:
The Volleyfest has been a 15 & 16U event where we mix all the 15 & 16U athletes from our club into 6-8 different teams.
We play a 1 day Co-ed tournament for fun.
Some of our 13 & 14U athletes volunteer to scorekeep, and they get to look forward to this event when they are of 15/16U age.
Some of our 17 & 18U athletes volunteer and officiate and give back to the event that they were once a part of.
Coaches from within our club volunteer to coach a team.
